We think it is real

In a trance

Drunk on self-delusion


Meritocracy is a myth

Fairness and equity

Does not exist 


Adlled minds with

Black hearts and 

Unbridled rage


With unlimited riches

And unchecked power

Petty tyrants in their

Bunkers and islands

Castles in darkness

Strategize and cower


Hierarchies are feudal

And the Peter Principle

Is the feature not a bug


These selfish arrogant

Slave traders were obviously

Never hugged as a child


Capitalism is sanctioned

Cruelty in which the ones

In chains are in the thrall of oligarchy


I am empty but not wanting

Alone but not lonely

Let your heart

Be a fertile field

For love is the only thing

That is real
